i have been working on electronics as a hobby for 7 years, helping out friends and family with occasional technical issues like DVD drives that couldn't read anything or controllers that 'just broke'. i wanted to extend this service to the greater community, as i saw a lot of folks both online and offline attempting to find local businesses or people locally and coming up blank, or the ones they could find were unreachable, or they didn't have the tools required... simply put, the city of Buffalo needs more service techs dedicated to helping others with more than just phones!

i can service video game consoles, controllers, computers, CRTs, and most other household electronics.

you can consult me on a variety of things that may need to be done, including:

• repair
  • screen replacements
  • recapping
  • battery swap (from a pokemon game to the dreaded dallas chip!)
  • specific and not-so-specific component faults
  • and anything else that needs a soldering iron (or more!)

• hardware/software modding
  • RGB mods
  • modchip installation
  • installing/updating homebrew mods
  • reshelling
  • functional/electrical mods for gamecube controllers

• cleaning
  • dust and grime can make your device overheat, which can eventually lead to permanent damage
  • it can also affect resale value (no one likes a console that smells like cigarettes!)

• e-waste pickup
  • i am open to you offloading any parts or systems you have and will respectfully reuse and/or recycle them
